Dominant Colors:

Pastel hues such as baby pinks and powder blues took center stage, seen in collections from Patou, Giambattista Valli, and Acne Studios. These colors were styled both in head-to-toe ensembles or contrasted with bolder tones like bright reds . Alongside these softer shades, neutrals and pops of bright colors also made their mark on the runways.

Key Garments:

Workforce-inspired suiting: Tailored suits and trench coats were back with a vengeance, particularly in collections from Saint Laurent and Stella McCartney. This trend is perfect for those looking to update their office wear with oversized blazers, ties, and a polished corporate aesthetic.

Draped dresses: Flowing, goddess-like draped dresses were a major theme. Victoria Beckham and Uma Wang presented sophisticated and fluid silhouettes that exude a modern elegance.

@VICTORIA BECKHAM

Chintz florals: These retro-style florals, reminiscent of vintage wallpaper, were seen in collections from Rabanne and Valentino, offering a charming and nostalgic vibe.

@BURBERRY

@ZIMO

Graphic tees: Bold and cheeky graphic t-shirts are back, and they’re often styled with skirts or layered under dresses, moving away from the classic jeans-and-tee combination.

@CHANEL

Footwear:

Flat shoes are making a big comeback, with gladiator sandals and slouchy boots spotted in Isabel Marant’s collection. This shift toward more relaxed and practical footwear signals a move towards comfort without sacrificing style .

@ISABEL MARANT

@RABANNE

Hairstyles and Accessories:

Effortlessly chic, undone hairstyles complemented the collections, while accessories like statement bags stole the show. Rabanne, for example, showcased a luxurious gold bag made from 18-karat solid gold .

These trends showcase how the SS25 collections mix both practicality and creativity, setting the tone for a season filled with contrasts—from polished office wear to fluid romantic styles, and soft pastels alongside bold graphics.
